Refused until they advised & counseld [sic] with the Chickasaws, which
was being done - there [sic] advice was, for the Choctaws not to concern
but by still in the Quarrel, which was agreed to by the Uper [sic] Choctaws Colbert
informed me that the lower Choctaws, was had some time ago
^in the spring prepared to fall on the Natchez Settlements, but had ^again declined
^the expedition he also gives it as his opinion that the lower Choctaws & Creeks
would will inevitably join the French & Spanards [sic] in case of a war
between America & those Nations - I have mentioned this
information in order that the executive may know if ^whether or not it
corresponds wth other information advices-
