Surely It is unnecssary for me to say, that it is impossible
for any opinion to can be harbored, that my official conduct
would in any measure countenance a conduct thing, that would
so materially effect, and menace, the measures of the
General Government, who may be assured, I shall at all times, be
watchfull [sic] of her interests, honor, & safety
