Gentleman

I am Credibly informed, that a very
flagrant and outrageous affray, took
place the last evening between a certain
Thomas House and Cotterill, at
John Stones tavern in this town, in which
affray I am informed the two combattants
have received considerable Wounds.

It is unnecessary for me to remind you
Gentlemen, how unwarrantable, and subversive
of all peace and decorum such conduct must
be, and how dangerous to society such
aggressions must prove in the end, if not
timely checked suppressed - I therefore call on
you gentlemen Jointly to exercise your official
authority, and immediately make due
enquiry and examination respecting this
