On the 6^th of this Instant about 5
Miles this side of south west point
I Lost a valuable Horse a Black
with 4 white Legs nearly to the Hams
about 4 feet 10 or 11 Inches High
About 8 years Old if any Brands
I do not remember them he has a
Ball face Trots and Canters veary [sic]
well, I have reasons to beleave [sic]
that he was Taken by the Indians
as I followed the Track to the Tennesseee
to One of thire [sic] old crossing places-
Shall thank your Excelency to make
it know to the Superintendant of
Indian Affairs at Tellico Block
