Annexed to the Report of the Joint Committee, is a letter of
His Excellency Governor Jacksons, to the Representative Branch,
which touches fully the other subjects of my Mission, I entertain no
Doubt Georgia, would feel bound, to make appropriations commen=
=surate to the calls on her faith, that are due the Citizens of Tennessee
Provided the Documents referred to in this Report, could be furnished. ~

It seems that of those that were requisite to esta=
=blish the claim in the eyes of Her Legislature, there was only wanting
one letter, and the receipt of a letter of that Date, is acknowledged,
tho now, it is not to be found, on the Executive files, which being ~
acknowledgedly lost, by some Official [Jackas?], in that State, will
certainly render it questionable, How far Tennessee, or her Citizens
are, or may be made responsible, and whether such acknowledge=
=ment is not in amount a Virtual establishment of the Claim.~

I should have done myself the Honor of
Reporting to your Excellency the Issue of this buisiness, at a
much earlier period, but delayed with the Hopes of obtaining the
whole Journal, failing in this I Submit an official Copy
of that part that affects my Mission. ~

And am most Respectfully
