Sir) My Situation In life together with
my private Circumstances & Other Reasons
Render It Impracticable for me Any Longer
to Act as a Justice of the Peace for the County
of Washington. I therefore Request that your
Excellency will please to Accept this as my
Resignation of that Office with my Sincerest
Wishes for the Good of My Country In General
& In particular for You Sir as Its Chief
Magistrate - - With Every Sentiment of
Respect & Esteem I am Sir your Excellencys
