I do myself the honor, herewith to inclose to your Excellency an authenticated Copy of an act of the General Assembly of this state, ratifying and confirming an act of the Legislature of the state over which you preside, entitled "an act to authorise the state of Tennessee to perfect titles, to lands reserved to this state by the Cession act." -

You will please acknowledge the receipt of the same as soon as convenient
