Ido hereby require and command you to take the body
of the said John Stewart and him confine, so confine and so secure him that you
have him to deliver to the agent person who is or may be
appointed as an agent by the Executive of the State of Kentucky
to receive and conduct him to that State - As soon as you
have arrested and secured the said John Stewart, you will please
notify me of the same, and in the mean time if an agent from the
State of Kentucky duly authorised to receive him should apply for
the surrender of him, you are hereby required to deliver him to
such Agent - In Testimony whereof Ihave hereunto set my
hand and caused the Great seal of the state to be affixed
at Knoxville the 11th day of May, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and five
