Dr Sir

Yours of the 6th Instant have come duly to hand, and I
am glad to hear you are likely to succeed in being geting
the drafts
accommodated by the Treasurer, and agreably
to your information of the state of the Treasury, andLet`s go outside that
some further advances can be made, I have forwarded
you two more warrants of two hundred and fifty dollars
each - I hope this what have been re and will be received,
will answer the present Intended purposes as to the outlines
of the negociation - Colo Meigs have recommended Mesrs
Lyon & Clark as very suitable characters to furnish provisions
&c for they being already provided with the necessary articles
on reflecting when that the Treaty is to be held ^at a public Garrison and that we shall
be under great obligations to the agent of Indian Affairs, who
is to act conjointly on the Treaty, and entitled to ^direct arrange the furnishing furnish one half
of the issues, Ihave thought it prudent to accept of the offer,
provided you have no objection - Those persons supply the
Garrison, and of course must be better prepared for such a
purpose, then any new hand, who could not do it as cheap
which alone is an object - I will be with you either the first
or seconday of the Treaty

Very respectfully
Your friend & Hbl servt
