I certify that John Boyd Sheriff of Davidson County, before me
John Anderson a Justice of peace for s^d County, proved that he attended
one day at Nashville in the s.^d County (being the place appointed by
law) in comparing the votes for an election of president and Vice
president of the united states, for which he is entitled to receive the
sum of one Dollar seventy five cents, agreeable to an act of the
general assembly passed Nov^r 3^d 1803 Given under my
hand the 5^th day of November 1804
