State of Tennessee Knoxville December 5th 1804

This is to certify that George Ridley hath
attended one day here as an Elector to vote for President and Vice
President of the United States, and that he hath four Hundred
and six miles Riding in travelling to and from this place for
which he is to be allowed agreeable to a Law of this state passed
November the third 1803 and amounting to forty three Dollars
and ten cents
