Nashville July 25^th 1809

Sir I was favoured with your Exellencey's
of the 16^th instant, and am happey to here
that your Exellence will be at the first of the
treaty, the Treasuer has agreed to take up your
Warrentt inclose [?] by your last letter
I must ingage a person to go with me as I can
not carrey much under me and the money will
be silver I expect to set out about the 10^th
of next month in order to go in with some of
the Cheifs. I am well pleased that you and Colo
Meigs have maid so good preparation for the
[surplyes?] of the treaty, am Sir your Exellencys
most Humbel servant
