Nashville July 25th 1809

Sir I was favoured with your Exellencey's
of the 16th instant, and am happey to here
that your Exellence will be at the first of the
treaty, the Treasuer has agreed to take up your
Warrentt inclose [?] by your last letter
I must ingage a person to go with me as I can
not carrey much under me and the money will
be silver I expect to set out about the 10th
of next month in order to go in with some of
the Cheifs. I am well pleased that you and Colo
Meigs
have maid so good preparation for the
[surplyes?] of the treaty, am Sir your Exellencys
most Humbel servant
