The Grove National Historic Landmark

7/11/2023 Initial review complete. CE
Action: Changed "in pus[?]" to [illegible] as the word is difficult to determine. Took out question marks after [male symbol] and [female symbol] as these markings do appear to indicate male and female of species. Changed "PB H" to "PR H".
7/13/2023 Changed "varins" to "varius" and [illegible] to "injures" in line 2.

I believe it is picus varius, as I think he is listing birds, in which case, the illegible word would be "injures."
