You can catch alive. As to Crota-
lus durissus, it will perhaps be best
not to send any so far. They are
abundant in the Mts. of Penna
& Virginia near here, and I can
readily get them. Crolalophorus
however I would like. In sending
such things, endorse the scientific
name outside so that I may
know. As far as possible it will
be best to confine the sendings
to a small number, allow-
ing them to accumulate for each
lot, so as to save expense. It
will not be worthwhile to send
any of the big frogs unless you
get something new. The com-
mon sort I get here well enough

My movements are uncertain,
this summer, but I shall be here
certainly to the middle of July,
perhaps longer. I would rather
not have anything sent between
this time and the end of
September, as it is uncertain whe-
ther they would be cared for.
