Dear father

I came in last nght expecting to meet you here and to start out monday I did not meet you. And Mr Johnson is gone out to come back Monday or Teusday As he has written to me that he wants to see me I shall wait till Tuesday - I will start for Decatur via (via Bloomington) Tuesday by either the morning or evening train. But if I hear that you will be here Teusday Ill wait a day. When I get to Decatur if I find you and yet in Springfield I will go direct to you -

I feell pretty well though not as strong as I could wish. I shall be very cautious about overworking myself

All were well at home when I left last night
