"The Old House at home." Wednesday

Dear Father,
All is going on pretty well. Of course Charlie keeps
you advised, as to proceedings in general - You repeated three
several times, in some of your last letters, that you should be out on
Saturday next. Mother says that is a sign, that you have it at
heart; and so we shall expect you for sure If we don't learn fast
and well this winter it will be our own faults; for Mr Hinde
is as good a teacher, as we could want - But you will see for your
self - self - It is very pleasant today - Chamalira
