Dear R:

I would be very much obliged
if you will buy the squirrels in the market and
send them in the flesh, directed to me at Academy
of Nat. Sci. Philada. - I will pay all Expenses -

Enclosed is the bill for eyes - make the
man pay you, and keep the money - I give it to you
- Enclosed also are bills for amounts due
me in Chicago - every body else has paid

Some days ago I sent a pkg. containing
my 10th no. - and the last, at present -
I hope to go on some day, but I do not
know exactly when, -

Please look to the Squrrels - I would like
to have about 3 specimens of every species that
you can buy - you may buy also any other
animals brought to market - excepting Horses
Oxen & Sheep! - we have verious specimens of
them in Philada - I would like much to have
any of the Weasels or Minks - Always glad to hear from
you -
