Racine Sunday March 3
Dear Father
Yours of last Thursday
evening with the papers has been
received.
I shall go to Milwaukee tomorrow
stay there all night - go out to
Uncle Walters on Tuesday
- back to Milwaukie on Wednesdy
And down there by the morning train
on Thursday and from here to Chicago
by the evening train of the same
day or perhaps I may get to Chicago
Thursday noon. If I visit Uncle
Walter this will be the shortest
time I can make I think. I make
this arrangement agreeable to your
request that I should be in Chicago
on Thursday. But should you receive
this on Teusday and in time to mail
a litter by that days mail for the north
