In regard to the fish and reptiles our curator will write you after ex amining the catalogue. For the living

The others are exhausted. You will find them addressed to your agricultural newspaper as you suggested. Have you ever pub lished any papers on bird in the Chicago Prairie Farmer? If so can you not send me copies?

thankful for to feel any right to repine, and I live hoping for ever better days and a more unrestricted return to my life in the woods and the fields. In the meanwhile I shall do all I can within the limits of my narrow treadmill, at hours stolen from rest and relaxation.

In haste yours very truly T.M. Brewer.

P. S. I wrote to you a very few days since which I trust that by this time you are alrea dy aware of -

Would your Weekly Prairie Farmer like an exchange with our weekly Atlas? Perhaps however you would not like our politics. If you would please let me know and if you send it direct it to me personally as editor of the Atlas.
