My dear Sir.

A few days since D^r Brewer handed me your letter to him with the marked list of Illinois Reptiles, saying that you were to send on some specimens to the Boston Society of Natural History - and desired me to write to you, and tell you what specimens I should wish for the Herpetological Cabinet. Should you be able to send You the following specimens, the way that Seems best to You - we should be greatly obliged

Chelonians Cistuda blandingii[underlined in red] Emys Relli[underlined in red] - " - Ophidians Crotalaphorus tergeminus[underlined in red] & if possible Crotalopi. Kirtlandii[underlined in red] Eutarnia radix or proxima[underlined in red] Nerodia sipeom Regina grahamii[underlined in red] or Kirtlandii[underlined in red] - " - Batrachians Hyla triseriata Ambystinia lurida[underlined in red] or pinictata[underlined in red] Nitophthalnius miniatus[underlined in red] or virivescens[underlined in red] Hemidactylium Scutatum - " -

Those which I have underlined with red, I should be very glad to get living specimens of if possible -
