Gowanda July 27, 1836 Dear Bob Why in the []t dont Frank answer my letters. I wrote to him long long ago, and as yet no reply s[]purr him upp for me. I was most happy on receiving your letter for it solved some of the many doubts which I have had of your sanity indeed Bob it pained me very much to think you was an Egotist, and now that I precei[]ve my mistake I crave your pardon for the little pains I took last muiten[?] to make my self agreeable to you however let bye gones be bye gones and now we'd shake hands for a long continued Friendship on legal grounds. How soon can you all come down I expected that Rans, Alice and you would be here with Hellen.
