We hereby take great pleasure
in introducing to you Mr. Rob^t. Kennicott, the bearer,
Who is employed as a Naturalist to collect and prepare
specimens of Natural History for Museum of the North-
Western University, located at Evanston near Chicago.

Mr. K. is a gentlemen ardently devoted to the
cultivation of the Natural Sciences, and is a Member
of the Academy of Natural Sciences in this City.

This present enterprize is a very important one
for the University, and any aid or service you
can render him will be gratefully acknowledged
by us.
