The Grove May 14th 1857
Dear Brother.
I have not written to
you before since Sunday - but
if you knew how busy I hadve
been you would forgive me
for neglecting to write to you.
We have not got any girl
yet, and school commenced
Monday - Cora and I were very
anxious to begin with the school
so we have had to work pretty
hard out of school. I have skined
(since Sunday) ten birds for you
I thought you would rather
have me do that than to
write you three letters. Last
night I skined a weasel, it
was caught in the nursey - by
Mr Carltons dog - Major say
he is a ground gdog, and that
