has gotten to be great Grandmother. She
that was Lizzie Church. (I can't think
of her husbands name) has a daughter.
I am not studying nearly as much
as I aught too. I write "lots" of letters.
and read a good deal. have commenced
"Irvings life of Washington", but do not let
on very fast. Having so much
company, and considerable housework to
do, does not leave much time for
study.

I hope you will get acquainted with Mrs
Douglas, and any other ladies you can.
I am glad to hear that you are going
to have such a good collecion.

Charlie is going back to Chicago tomorrow.
I presume we shall be very quiet for
a while. We have not got our boots
yet, but intend to the first opportunity.
Ransom has been quite sick with rhu=
=metism. Father is not well, he has
a bad cold, except him we are all well.
All send love and kisses - Sister Alice
