My Dear Mr Kennictt

Your elegant[underlined], beautiful[underlined]
and fragrant[underlined] bouquet has been the
delight of the household for three
days. A thousand thanks, and
My kindest regards.

Very truly yours
M. P. Wade

P. S. Come up as often as you feel
like it. I regret that I cannot offer
the society of Ladies who are "Know-
Somethings" instead of the Know Nothings
from whom you attempted to draw
some Music when here. As usual

This letter is signed "M.P. Wade" - Mary P. (Hall) Wade was the wife of Ohio Congressman Edward Wade. Mary Wade was also the niece of Robert Kennicott's Cleveland mentor, Dr. Jared Potter Kirtland (Mary Wade was the daughter of Kirtland's sister, Mary B. Kirtland Hall). This is the "Mrs Wade" mentioned in RK-617 (Jared Kirtland to Robert Kennicott, November 23, 1858) and RK-647 (Robert Kennicott to Mary Kennicott, December 12, 1858).
