Dear Bob

When I got to school this
morning I found that Mr Clark
was sick and that there would be no
school today - So when I got home
I thought the wisest thing that I
could do would be to write to you
as I didnot write yesterday - I
always mean to write to you
every Sunday - I am glad
you like to get my uninteresting
letters - I like to write them,
though I should like to more if
I could write better ones -

I suppose father is with you now.
I hope he is well.

We went down to Mr Sherwins
New Years eve to a sort of dance;
