Dear Bob –
This is washing day morning so you need not expect much of a letter and indeed you write such short letters that you don’t deserve long ones in return.
Maj and George came out yesterdy on skates, they were pretty tired when they arrived as you may imagine. they went back this morning by the cars. I think Maj likes being in town pretty well, and it will do him lots of good. Father has not got home yet and we have not heard in several days, We are anxious about him for fear he is sick.
The weather has been exceedingly cold for a few days it is warmer now however –
We had a letter from Charlie last Thursdy, he was suffering with tooth
