I have this moment received yours of the 25 with enclosures. of photographs for which I am much obliged. They will be an interesting addition to Lucy's[?] gallery.

You say nothing of your father being ill. We heard that he had quite a severe attack, which I trust is not the case.

I hope you wont be rash in your Army operations. Better wait till you come on here and Survey the whole field and find out you [page torn] [w?]hether pu [page torn] medical cadet, [page torn] uer. I got the Fort Garry letter, but there were no invoices whatever. in it. only the La Pierre House letter of several sheets, and two notes from Ft. Garry of about Sept 10'. If sent

they must have been in a separate envelope which did not come to hand. I hope you can reproduce them. I await answer to sundry queries in late letters of mine

Your letters come here in two days: mine seem much longer on the way.

Miss Betty Randolph was married today to a Mr Culvert. of this vicinity. A very clever man aged about 60.
