and saw some Pie Plant called Sarge. New. Hybrid
which he told me he had of you..

Can you spare me a quantity next
spring? and at what price per 100.

From the long experience and observation
you have had in the Fruit business in this
country; I wish to ask a simple question
If you were going to sett an Orchard of 500
trees expressly for market purposes taking
into consideration, hardiness, bearing qualities
&c. not exceeding 10 varieties, What would you sett.

How will the Willow Twig of the West, compare
with the Newtown Pippin of NY. for
exportation?
