Status: Needs Review

but will inquire the first time
I go down (which will be in a few days
and write you. Our flat (underl) prairie land
here heaves with the frost, and I
have done trying to winter(underl) any trees
upon it - though it is first rate for
seedlings. I have leased ten acres of
beautiful land for ten years.
I wish your family and "fixings"
were at Lisbon. I would like to
join with you in getting up a
splendid nursery. You know that
there is to be a R.R. through there
as soon as it can be made (ie an
extension of thw Poliet-Cut Off)
I was about to write you that
I could fill your order for grafts
exactly (underln) but upon looking over my
list- I find that by some neglect
there were no scions of the Golden Sweet
cut -- and consequently no grafts set
and as it is but a half-hardy sort
