Sir,
It is understood that commissioner here before appointed
by the State of North Caroline to extend the line between that
State and Tennessee as described in the letters as have
been and marked a line. As the state of Tennessee so
equally interested I take the liberty of requesting that you
would cause to be hand over to me for the wish of the State
an account of the proceedings of the Commissioners, or a map
of the line if any has been made

If any fees shall be due by law on the copy requested
you will please to equal the amount to be stated and they
shall be transmitted by the first safe conveyance
