Gliun, Gleean or Gliyan is both a totem term and also an animal name, literally ‘water-hen’ Gleean was also a patrilineal totem term, or Thundung, literally ‘elder-brother’ (see Howitt 1904:135). Bulmer termed this category of totem term Jaak, literally ‘meat’. Gliyan is a 'regularized spelling' not found in the originals. This is the purple swamphen (page 138 of hw0404).
The graph displays the other subjects mentioned on the same pages as the subject “Gliyan”. If the same subject occurs on a page with “Gliyan” more than once, it appears closer to “Gliyan” on the graph, and is colored in a darker shade. The closer a subject is to the center, the more "related" the subjects are.
