would have the opportunity of using any
information I give in your part and you
could point out any thing in mine which
seemed to you to require alteration, or amplification
If you have not sent off your manuscript
when you receive this consider please whether
these suggestions of mine will not be well if followed.
I am most anxious that our common work
should be as good as it can be and
I fear that if I have to patch it up with mine
it may be like putting old leather into a new bottle
I have not yet had time by the bye to look over
Smyth's book but I will do so before our paper
leaves here and see what he says.

I note your suggestion about printing words and
will follow it.

The map which you mention I will take care
to prepare to the best of my power but you
must let me have a list of all the
places which you want shown and
I will add mine. Charlotte Waters
is within the tropics on the way to Port Darwin
- on Stewarts route near the telegraph line.
I may state that as to the Maneroo Classes that
I am about to write to Mr Bulmer who is good
fellow in spite of his being a missionary (excuse the
remark there be land rats + water rats) and who has
either some Maneroo blacks with him or
if I am not in error a Maneroo woman
