Dear Prof. Driskell,
You may wonder having a letter from someone
you never met.
I am an Ethiopian. I
have seen you on the
day you gave speech at
Haile Sellasie University.
I enjoyed your speech
very much.
I have spent two
years in the United States,
one in travelling, and one
studying at the University
of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa.

I have seen your city too.
(Nashville).
I had to discontinue
my education at Univ. of
Northern Iowa, because of
the financial problem.
I am interested in pursuing
my education at your Univ.
so I would be glad if you
arrange a tuition grant
for me, Please.
I will pay for my [crossed out]
transportation to and from.
Please let me hear from
you.
My address:
WAKWEYA GELETA
