lands, reality still remains
the same. And this is why
one must go on painting to forge
a different reality.
I must thank you most
graciously for all your kindness
and tolerance that you showed
towards me through the difficult
days that you must have endured
whilst I was at Fisk. I will
always remember the beautiful evenings
I spent having dinner of luscious
corn-bread which Thelma prepared,
and your family around the table.
These memories I shall cherish.
Well David I hope the President
will honor his commitment and
buy the painting one day soon.
