Dear Director:

I am interested in knowing the possibility of a commemorative quilt being
exhibited for a month at Fisk University in 1978. This particular quilt is an
artistic and historical documentary; one of the thirty quilt blocks is about Fisk
Institute and the Fisk Jubilee Singers and said block was executed by a Fisk gradu-
ate. The quilt is appropriate for gallery display.

I would appreciate receiving information on your 1978 schedule plans and
tye type of security protection provided to minimize handling the above item.

The Afro-American Heritage Quilt is currently displayed at the Oregon His
torical Society in Portland through September 30th.
