Mr. Bernard Seabrook c/o CBS 524 West 57th Street New York, New York 10019
Dear Bernie:
It was good walking to you by phone the other day and I am again apologetic for not having talked to you about the Los Angeles opening. As I pointed out, so many things have happened that I had to let go several commitments I had previously made. At any rate, I do hope you will accept an invitation to be in Atlanta to do a special film on the exhibitionl; there seems to be no problem with the use of material already shot for this purpose. As i mentioned earlier, the opening is to be on January 7 and I have asked that you be sent an invitation to the dinner which will take place prior to the opening on January 7.
I am enclosing some material on the exhibition but the catalogue seems to be sufficient to let you know its content.
My new address wil be 4206 Decatur Street, Hyattville, Maryland 20781. I shall get in touch with you after December 21; hopefully, I will be moved by then.
Thanks for calling. Should you need to contact me prior to my leaving, please use the number I gave you as I shall be here through the 16th.
Very sincerely yours,

Dear David,
Congraultations on the opening of your show in California and the publication of the fine book. I bought a copy and have been reading it this week.
I hope we can find an hour or two sometime before you leave Nashville to put some of your ideas in your own words on a tap, so that when I get around to the process of writing again as I hope to do, I will have this to fall back on.
I do not teach at all on Fridays, so most any Friday, morning or afternoon would be open, or Saturday. If we get together on a weekday, it has to be a late afternoon for me. When you get back in town next week, perhaps you can look at your calendar. I will call you again in two weeks if I haven't heard. I am at home most evenings after 5.
Thanks, Louise

Mr. Martin Friedman Director Walker Art Center Vineland Place Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403
Dear Martin:
Just in case you did not receive the catalogue of the exhibition, I am sending a complimentary copy to you. Please direct your response to my new address: 4206 Decatur Street, Hyattsville, Maryland 20781; we are moving late in December. I hope you will have a chance to review the book and let me have your reaction. There are several mistakes in this edition which I hope to be able to correct with a second printing, but those things are to be expected.
My schedule has been so busy that I was forced to let go of several prior commitments and I am not certain that I will be able to make the next AFA meeting as I shall be getting settled in my new position at the University of Maryland.
I hope your work continues to go well; best wishes for a joyous holiday season.
Very sincerely yours,
David C. Driskell Director and Chairman
