2. October 1969: Attended the African Studies Association Conferences in Montreal, Canada, as an Observer/ Discussant.

3. January 1970: Attended the College of Art Association Conference in Washington, D.C., U.S.A., as an Observer/Discussant.

4. April 1970: Attended Boston University's International Colloquim on African Art History and presented a paper entitled "Sango Ram Symbolism: Form Ancient Sahara or Dynastic Egypt".

5. February 1972 Presented a paper entitled "Yoruba Equestrian Sculpture: Its Origin, and Historical Implica tions" at the Weekly Seminar of the Institute of African Studies, University of Ife.

6. February 1977 Presented a paper entitled "Prolegomena to Art Education in Contemporary Africa", at the International symposium on the theme: THE ARTIST AS A CREATIVE FORCE IN EDUCATION AND SOCIETY, organized by Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

7. April 1973: Presented a paper entitled: "The present State of Art Historical Research in Nigeria: Problems and Possibilities" at the weekly seminar of the Institute of African Studies, University of Ife.

8. January 1974: Presented a paper entitled: "Some Aspects of Yoruba Aesthetics" at the Seminar: Yoruba Oral Traditions, organized by the Institute of African Studies, University of Ife.

9. March 1974: Presented a paper entitled: "New Light on Tsoede Bronzes: Art and the reconstruction of the Early Connections between Oyo, Nupe and Benin", Institute of African Studies University of Ife.
