Dear David,
You can kiss Summer GOODBYE!
I hope that you and Thelma had a good summer in Maine, no doubt. I assumed
that you were on vacation and out of the District and State in order
to deprive yourself of my brilliant lecture on Paul R. Williams
(I keep saying that I am going to get a wordprocessor with a laser printer
since I write so much and my typing is just like my handwriting--moody!)
There was an architectural historian who knew a nother Black architect
who was a contemporary of PRW. Veddy intressting!
Thank you for the catalog. I am sure that it was a mahrvelous exhibition.
What ever happened to the project with the woman from Los Angeles? She
had called as if it were urgent and it was a bout to happen any minute!
I never heard anything from Howard after the interview!!!!? Laater I
saw in a magazine that Floyd Coleman had gotten the position. I wish
Floyd the best but I really wanted that position because I wanted to
move to DC but what the hell........
Listen stay in touch. Crocker is trying to get you out here for the
Harlem Renaissance Exhibition in January-February. Hope to see you then.
Sincerely,
Allen (?)
