Mrs. Joanne Weise Snyder [redacted] September 28, 1989
Mr. & Mrs. David Driscoll [redacted]
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Driscoll: On September 27, 1989, I received a telephone call from Miss Elizabeth Catlett who sculptured two works for you entitled: "Maternity" and "Woman Resting." She told me to tell you she has given her consent for me to use mass reproductions of those works in a legistative kit for education of Mothers' and Children's Rights. She told me to write to you to ask your permission as owners for me to obtain a photographic reproduction of these works from the Bronx Museum.
If you need further information, please feel free to call me and I shall be glad to give you more information on the project.
I look forward to hearing from you. Very truly yours, Joanne Weise Snyder [signature] Joanne Weise Snyder jws

Well, I'm just about settled in to Bowdoin life, but not quite the weather. It's been pretty cold these past couple of days, but I'm adjusting. The food here is great. are: Economics; Gov. - The Resurgence of the Islamic Religion and politics; Italian; and Colonialism and Nationalism in South East Asia. I've been "hitting" the books pretty hard, but I find time for sports + leisure activities, and Partying. I got a letter from Darius. It was great to hear from him. We have a five day break in the last week of October. I want to come home really bad, but I doubt if I will be able to.
Well, Thanks again. Please tell Daphne, Daverine (?) & Mac, Eric, and Alisha I said hi.
Love Rodney
