Ms. Sharon Stallings Sponsor Black Awareness Club Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School 4301 East-West Highway Bethesday, Maryland 20814

Dear Ms. Stallings:

I am taking the liberty of responding to your letter of November 28 to Professor Driskell requesting him to give a lecture in conjunction with "Living Celebration". He is currently out of the country and will not return until the end of January.

Unfortunately, his shedule for the month of February is quite full and will probably not permit him to participate in your lecture series. I shall, however, present your letter to him upon his return and shall call you if, in fact, one of the dates and times is convenient for him.

The very best of luck to the Black Awareness Club in its endeavors.

Sincerely,

Ophelia Speight Assistant
