There's several african americans in art history and art studies, including Nanette Bearden's niece, who's married to Robin Kelly, an assoc. Prof in history. As you can see from this notecard, Nanette is marketing Bearden's work. By the way, how was the Bearden open ing at NMAA? Haven't heard from anyone at the museum in D.C. I plan to be in D.C. before the year ends in order to see exhibit.
