Dear David Driskell:
I was happy to hear from you
again at Fisk. Daugter, Alice is
hurrying to get her plane back to
'Dega in the morning.
Thought you'd like to see how
I intend to handle the 5B section of
our Black Visual Art Course here at
Merritt College in Oakland. The U.
of Calif. has approximately 5,000 items
of African Art available. Unfortunately
they do not have them on permanent
exibition like other Museums, but
they have agreed to set up exhibits
of African Art for our Course.
Please let me know more about
the Denver trip as soon as possible.
I want to know details such as
travel and other expenses.
It is great to hear of how you
are adding to your staff at Fisk.
Best wishes.
Sincerely,
Claude Clark
