26 rue St. Gerard
Port-au-Prince Haiti
6 February - 1981

Bien cher David:

What a thrill it was to see your
name in the article: "Black Art In
American Culture" by Laurone st. Juste
in "Le Houvelliste." I thought you
would like to have the article.

My holiday was a busy one here
as several members of my family, also
Françoise Pfaff spent the Christmas
and New Year with us. They were so
happy to enjoy the warm sun of
Haiti in contrast to the cold
weather. I hear you are having in
Washington.

How is the exhibit of works
by Afro American Women going?
Please send me a catalog -
also two of your last
retrospective: - one for the
file of The Musée d 'Art
Haitien here in Port - au -
Prince and one for my
studio. The one I bought at
your vernissage is in
Washington. Your show was
truly "great!"

Now that my guests are
gone I will try to get down to
work.

Hope all goes well with
you. My love to Thelma.
Pierre and I return to
Washington March 28th.

Love -
Loïs -
