plays such as "Ain't Misbehavin," Timbuktu" and the "The King and I." Guess who I saw on 5th avenue just below the Met... Bentley from the Jeffersons (T.V.). I spoke to him saying something very intelligent like "I recognize you!" He sounds just like himself (smile). Speaking of the Met I go to see experimental photographs collected by Stieglitz (fantastic), works of art done during the time of Napoleon (fascinating for their intricacies) and the Monet exhibition which was unbelievably beautiful. I also got to see the exhibition of young artists' work at the G. I was not impressed exception of Martin's work. But there was something distant about Martin's work-it might have been the settings. I did notice that he still has that unique sense of humor.

Dear David Your expressions of concern and care in this time of deepest grief and sorrow for us have been received as a most soothing palm. We besides our great joy in Daniels short life have been greatly strengthened by the spirits and grace that our friends have bestowed on us. But David, your feelings expressed from both Thelma and yourself to us have touched our center and has added to the life that goes into the realm beyond biological life. Know that we are most grateful and we treasure your friendships and humbly in return send our care to you.
Yours also in friendship Richard
