World's Dispensary and Invalid's Hotel

THE LARGEST SANITARIUM IN
THE WORLD.

Not a Hospital, but a Pleasant Remedial Home, organized
with a full Staff of Physicians and Surgeons, for the
treatment of Special Chronic Diseases.

Having spent nearly $500,000 in erecting and furnishing this
grand national resort for invalids, it was the determination of the
Board of Directors that every member of its extensive Faculty of
Physicians and Surgeons should be equally superior in experience,
culture, and skill.
We have not the space to speak, individually, of the professional
men composing the Faculty, but will say that among them are
gentlemen whose long connection with the World's Dispensary
and Surgical Institute has given them great experience and
rendered them experts in their specialties. Several of them had
previously distinguished themselves in practice, held important
chairs as lecturers and teachers in Medical Colleges, and filled
responsible positions in both military and civil hospitals.
For many years Dr. R. V. PIERCE, the founder of the World's
Dispensary and Invalid's Hotel, and at present consulting physician
to this institution, has devoted himself very diligently to the study
and treatment of chronic diseases. During this time some few
specifics have been developed and perfected for the cure of certain
chronic ailments, and have been given to the public, not being
lauded as "cure-alls", or panaceas, but recommended as remedies
for certain easily-recognized diseases. These medicines have for
years been very largely sold through druggists, and have earned
great and world-wide celebrity for their many and wonderful cures.
