Afternoon & evening at Sharon - 24th Went to Meeting Lucy Stabler came spent the afternoon Wm came for her - 25th Brother C came home & went for Uriah & Hal they came in the afternoon and stayed alnight - 26th Mother Marg & I went up to the Steam Mill New Con - 27th Ironed Mother & Sis spent the day at Fair Hill Uncle Wm Ellen & Betty B took tea - 28th Went to Uncle L's a while in afternoon Gathered some Fox grapes Remus sick - 29th Made a chicken coop Rode down to S S - 30th Mother spent the afternoon at Cousin Sally's Sister at Uncle T's Cousin Jim came and stayed alnight - 31st Went to Meeting in the morning spent the afternoon quiltly at home - Sept 1st Sewed a little in the morning read in the after noon Lis & Marg reading " The Leis arrived Brother C at Fredo Jaiseys

14th Stayed at home al day Sister came up from Meeting Bob came to [Ainnes] Wash came a while [Leobby] & Tom to tea - 15 Uncle W H P dined with Threshing rode over after some bags G Auriole - Spent evening at Uncle T's - 16th read some in afternoon - 17th Lif A called in the morning Ironed. C E I came for sister to go to Walnut Mill - I rode over to Uncel T's found P.R. there - Sent for to Learby's - 18th Preserved some Quinces Very Sleepy - Uncle [W --lk] & wife came in briefly he went back aft - her - 19th D.A.Randell & Libby Anne in afternoon Leaving in evening - Brother C went for M - Great Storm he stayed the night - 20th Rode dowon to Cedar L & Sharon Spent evening at Augustas & biby Brooke Sam R Asa Ridge &c &c - - 21st Went Meeting in Morng
