Another New Year has rolled around
very soon. Good resolutions must
be made today. and kept thro'
the year. Ed took wheat and
forn to town. Jim Gaither, Agnes'
husband, started to work here.
Dr. Grun called. Churrned and
printed the butter, and right af-
ter dinner Farther, Mother and I
went to call on Mrs. Harry
Williams but she was not at
home and we stopped a little
while at Olney. Mary Willis
came up and took Aunt Eliza
home with her, on her way to
Takoma - Jim patched and mended
the kitchen floor and plastering.

Right after breakfast I went over
to the Maples for Sister and
Meredith, we called at the Briars
and then came home. Dr. Green
came to dinner and they left in
the afternoon. Meredith was so cute
and good, and weighed 18 1/8 lbs.
Father and Jim cut up the old
walnut tree. I took butter and
eggs to Olney --

Windy and wintry. Men hauled fodder

to tell me goobye, before he starts to
