I rec'd your kind favour via J. McCafferty & am much oblig'd to you for the news Paper, but have no good news to send you in return. we have had no arrivals from England for a long time, we have a report to day that there is 4 vessels just come in but can't here what they are nor where from.
I don't think any of the last Tob'o you sent down will do for you to ship. J. Butler went down to have it Inspected he says one of Glens pass'd with difficulty but the other three are all refus'd, as soon as they are pick'd shall send you an acco't of what is sav'd out of them & am very respectfully
