Dear Sir

I am very sorry to hear of your Indisposition and sincerely wish you a speedy recovery. on receipt of your Letter I apply'd to Dr. Coleman, who informed me he would prepare something for your relief with which I proposed to dispatch Tom this morning, but the Dr. has since concluded to ride down himself. — I think with you that at least one scheme should be forwarded by Mr. Miller for Whitehaven & another for Glasgow, but as Mr. Thackston intends to Guildford Court next Munday it will not be in my power to assist you. however if you will set Mr Martin to make out such copys as you think will answer, I will be with you either on munday evening or tuesday evening to give you my opinion & return home next morning. should be glad to have the pleasure of seeing Mr. Potter at Littleriver when I come there. I have been very poorly since you left this place. may God for ever Bless you is the earnest wish of Your Sincere Friend, Wm. Johnston
